HISTORY

The Association of Desk and Derrick Clubs (ADDC), an international non-profit organization, is a premier provider of energy education and professional development. ADDC's purpose shall be to promote the education and professional development of individuals employed in or affiliated with the petroleum, energy and allied industries, and to educate the general public about these industries as well as the companies and global communities the members serve.

The ADDC established the ADDC Foundation in 1987 to assist the Association, its members, and others in the petroleum, energy, and allied industries in developing educational projects and programs related to those industries.  The ADDC Foundation provides full or partial support for workshops, symposia, seminars, educational publications and media, research, and educational outreach projects.  Contributions to the Foundation enable the support for these projects.

The Foundation qualifies as a tax-exempt organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
