The ADDC Foundation, which was created in 1987 by the Association of Desk and Derrick Clubs (ADDC), assists the Association, its members, and others in the petroleum, energy, and allied industries in developing educational projects and programs related to those industries. The ADDC Foundation needs your support to continue and expand our work to promote the development of these educational projects. Donations come from Desk and Derrick clubs and members throughout the United States and Canada, from companies, and from other interested individuals and foundations. Many contributors use their donations to honor speakers or to remember friends and professional colleagues. The ADDC Foundation qualifies as a tax-exempt organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the U.S. IRS code. Educational Projects The ADDC Foundation provides full or partial support for:

Curricula and Educational Materials The Foundation supports development of learning tools for use in classrooms and training courses. For the ADDC Lending Library, projects have included purchase of educational videos and videotaping various seminars. The Foundation supports many projects, including Project E3: Expanding Energy Education and MOLU--Mobile Offshore Learning Unit at the Offshore Energy Center in Galveston, TX and a curriculum unit entitled "Oil and Gas: The Molecular Story" developed by National Foundation for Energy Education, and work related to PetroMolly ™. PetroMolly ™ is a popular character created by Desk and Derrick members to teach audiences, particularly school children, about the useful objects made from petroleum and petrochemicals. Outreach Contributions also fund a variety of energy industry and ADDC community outreach projects, creating awareness of the value and role of energy in daily life.
