ADDC FOUNDATION

 

The ADDC Foundation supports several worthwhile areas of service to Desk and Derrick members and others in the petroleum and allied industries. These include: Workshops, Symposiums, Seminars, Educational Publications and Media. Also included, Research and Certification Programs, plus Educational Outreach projects. 

 

The only thing about which the futurists agree is that there will be change in every phase of our lives in the years to come. Increased Education is the way to manage change. The ADDC Foundation can support the needs of the petroleum, energy and allied employees in the future, have textbooks and videos published and then sponsor study courses in these new technologies.

 

The idea for the ADDC Foundation was approved by Delegates at the 1986 ADDC Convention. The initial Board of Trustees was approved by the ADDC Board in February of 1987. The State of Oklahoma Certificate of Incorporation was approved July 8, 1987. The IRS Letter of Recognition and Exemption was received October 8, 1987 (A publicly supported organization described in Section 509 (a) (2), exempt under Section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code).

 

The ADDC Foundation supports, ADDC Certification Programs, Energy Education Kits for Schools and Museums, California: Energy Trendsetter Panel, International Energy Symposium, OSHA Safety Certification Training, COPAS Certification Seminars and Testing, and work with PetroMollyTM.
